Retreat Healthcare Fri, 18 Apr 2008 22:43:10 -0400 http://www.unap.org/node/1335 <p>Retreat Healthcare just completed a major reorganization of its inpatient programs.&nbsp; A residential unit was closed,<br />&nbsp;a new intensive adult program was created, and an existing program was split into latency and adolescent. </p><p>Union leaders Danielle Perry and Thomas Flood did an excellent job in protecting/improving staffing levels – working to add hours back where cuts were made, and assuring a greater mix of full-time positions.<br /><br />The Retreat contract is the only UNAP contract that provides patient-to-staff ratios for each unit.&nbsp; Because of this, it was imperative that the new and reorganized units continue to have patient-to-staff ratios.&nbsp; The Union achieved this goal and, in some cases, improved the ratios.<br />&nbsp; <br /></p> Retreat Healthcare Wed, 15 Jun 2005 19:13:09 -0400
